Nordicmind Oy is committed to respecting your privacy and recognize your need for appropriate protection and management of any personally identifiable information (“Personal Data”) you share with us. We have established this Privacy Policy so that you can understand the care with which we intend to treat your Personal Data where Nordicmind Oy is the data controller or where we refer to the applicability of this Policy.

Nordicmind Oy needs to gather and use certain Personal Data as part of running it’s business and fulfill it’s legal obligations. Data will be collected only for lawful purposes and not further processed in a manner that is incompatible with those purposes.
What data do we collect?
We collect Personal Data including contact information (such as name, email address, and phone number). In addition, we collect your work role, responsibilities and technologies related information to be able to provide relevant content and services related to your work role.
How do we collect Personal Data?
We collect the information you provide us when you register online in our events. We also collect Personal Data when you contact us with questions, comments, requests for information or preparation of agreement or purchase. We may also use several other publicly available online sources to collect Personal Data.
Purpose of processing
Lawful purpose of handling your Personal Data is always based on some or several of the following:
- Letter of Intent, Statement of Work, NDA or other equivalent agreement
- Your specific consent either in verbal or written form
- Legitimate interests
The legitimate interest is based on the right to conduct a business and related activities such as sales and direct marketing. Nordicmind Oy operates only in Business to Business (B2B) context and does not store or process any consumer data.
How do we store your Personal Data?
Only the minimum required Personal Data in relation to the purpose will be stored and processed. Data will not be held for any longer than necessary. Data may be stored for longer periods solely for archiving purposes to fulfill Nordicmind’s legal and regulatory compliance obligations.
All Personal Data is stored safely and not disclosed to any third party unless it being required to fulfill the intended purpose, our service promise, or legal obligations. We may transfer some parts of the collected information to our partners and affiliates who play an important role in our operations: they help us market, sell and support the products and services that Nordicmind is providing.

Nordicmind Oy shall facilitate the exercise of data subject rights as defined by EU GDPR. The essential individual rights are summarized below.
Right to Access
You have right to know whether or not we have Personal Data concerning you. Based on request, we will provide a copy of such data.
Right to Rectification
You have the right to request the correction of any inaccurate Personal Data concerning you.
Right to be Forgotten (erasure)
You have right to request the removal of your Personal Data if the data is no longer relevant to original purpose and not required to be maintained by regulatory requirements. Data will be erased without undue delay if the request is valid and not violating legal and regulatory obligations of Nordicmind.
NOTE: The erasure of data will not guarantee that your data will not be collected, held and processed again from some other source as we have no data to prevent that happening.
Right to Object
You have the right to object at any time to processing of Personal Data concerning you. We shall no longer process your Personal Data unless there are compelling legitimate grounds for the processing.
Where Personal Data are processed for direct marketing purposes, a person shall have the right to object at any time to processing of Personal Data concerning him or her for such marketing.
Where the person objects to processing for direct marketing purposes, the Personal Data shall no longer be processed for such purposes. Anyway, in such case, we need to continue to maintain minimum Personal Data required to fulfill this request by you.
How Do We Use Cookies?
Nordicmind Oy does not use cookies or other similar technologies for any other purpose than to operate and improve our websites and services. These purposes may include for example recognizing you on our event registration website, set your preferred language and remember your previously selected preferences. We do not use cookies for advertising purposes.
Our websites and web applications, for example forms, may include third-party elements out of our control that set cookies on behalf of a third party, for example relating to website usage analytics or third-party social network.
